PROPOSAL

The significance of the name “The Indio Triangle” originates from the fact that the commercial lot is triangular shaped, which opened up interesting design possibilities. This development is a one of a kind in Indio and the broader desert area including the Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, etc. It is up for candidacy to become the town center of Indio itself. The developer commissioned our design team to propose a Gas Station that includes Electric Charging Stations, a 7-11 Convenience Store with a Coffee Bar, as well as a Quick Service Restaurant such as Chick-fil-A and Blue Bottle Coffee. The first important step in Master Planning this piece of land was to plan the best vehicle access/driveways and parking. After the layout was approved by the developer, we envisioned the architecture of the structures to be contemporary with hints of vintage vibes and colors, red being one of the eye catching elements in the design and the mood-opening off-white complimenting the desert environment. This master plan is a step towards comfortable, sleek modern living, which improves urban environments such as this desert locality and introduces new leisure for the area.
